Compliance Officer

Intergiro is a Swedish FinTech company with big plans
We are building a one-stop-shop for businesses, with banking, card issuing and merchant acquiring all on one platform. We are now looking for a Compliance Officer to work cross-functional supporting our business functions in regulatory compliance. The Compliance Officer works to provide a cohesive and effective risk and compliance oversight

Main responsibilities:
Support Chief Compliance Officer/MLRO in developing the Compliance Program within the company
Creating and updating guidelines, policies, routines and instructions within the compliance area
Oversee the company’s Data protection strategy and its implementation to ensure GDPR compliance.
Supporting overall compliance activities, including administration and communication with regulators (e.g. preparing regulatory notifications and reports)
Interpreting and implementing new and modified regulations
Ensure regulatory obligations and compliance governance within the business
Support in the preparation and execution of training of staff within regulatory requirements
Advising the business within various compliance related matters
Work closely together with Tech to develop and advise within compliance
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization in the development projects for new products and services

Requirements:
Legal education/ Background
+2 years work experience in Compliance from Bank/Financial Institution
Experience/Knowledge of implementing GDPR
Good communication skills in English, written and spoken
A pragmatic mindset with attention to details
Proactive and solution-oriented approach
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing environment

Good to have:
Fluent in Swedish
Certification or training in data protection
Previous experience in FinTech or with payment services and systems
