Arbetsbeskrivning

Seco Tools is a market-leading manufacturer of comprehensive metal cutting solutions for milling, stationary tools, hole making and tooling systems. We develop and supply the technologies, processes and support that our customers depend on to maximize both productivity and profitability.
Are you interested in taking an active part in influencing our work processes in a cheerful, evolving and international environment; strengthening the competence within our company and building sustainable networks with partners within the organization? We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
Your mission
In this position, we're looking for a Compliance Officer to join our new, supportive and global team. Together with the team you’re continuing the transformation and consolidation of SMS Compliance Programs & Culture to lead people, processes and systems up the maturity ladder with the aim to protect and strengthen our value for employees, customers, suppliers and communities. You drive Compliance as a trusted value-added business partner to the business while making it part of the everyday business practices through teamwork and collaborative approach.
You also manage and advise on compliance activities within the area, set priorities, and keep up-to-date information and advice on regulatory and legal requirements. Find compliance risks within the area and work with the business on justifying compliance risks. You have oversight and implement compliance policy, developed and deployed training tools, templates, and processes to manage compliance risk, and shared best practices. Finally, of course, you ensure adherence to The Sandvik Way, applicable legislation, and established policies and procedures within the area of responsibility and inspire pride and change in the wider context of Sandvik's 2030 sustainability development.

You have flexible working conditions while being at one of our European offices (Sweden, Turkey, Belgium or Poland to name a few), and some travel is a natural part of the job whenever the circumstances are back to normal.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a University degree in law with relevant specialization and extensive work experience within the field of compliance, preferably 5+years. It’s important that you’ve been working hands-on with contract review and GDPR. And as we act on a global scene, fluency in both written and verbal are needed.
You think and act strategically at a consistently high level, confident in making complex decisions. As an effective communicator and trusted advisor, you create solid collaborations and show high integrity. You enjoy solving problems and influence new perspectives, always focusing on continuous improvement – searching for efficiency and new solutions to our processes. This, combined with your business mind and inspirational manner, truly positively affects our organization.
