Job Description
A Components Area Manager has the overall accountability for establishing, delivering, and maintaining high-quality, self-service, and reusable components that can be seamlessly integrated by services, products, and platforms, according to business needs. The Component Area Manager will work with value stream leadership, business, functions, and engineering leaders to design, deliver and scale reliable and fit-for-purpose business components that meet the specifications of experience layer. The Component Area Manager is the driver of the multidisciplinary team through lean, agile-based incubation and delivery process – e.g., Build, Learn, Adapt. The Component Area Manger has a deep understanding of our core business processes, and end-user and customer needs. ​

As a Component Area Manager within Ship & Trade your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Trade solutions
Inbound flows
Supplier connections
Traceability and Serialization
Inventory management
Shipping & Trade Insights



Qualifications
We believe you have 7+ years of experience of end-to-end technology product ownership in a relevant subject matter​. Ability to understand the complexity of H&M business and the role of foundational technology as an integrated part of the business.
Experience of running and operating technical products ​
Ability and credibility to lead and guide both in house and third-party teams​
Deep understanding of the cost drivers in systems delivery and operations and the commercial consequences of the technical decisions made. Ability to manage and prioritize dozens of requirements, deadlines, & projects
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a business or tech discipline (economics, computer science) ​

Functional Knowledge:
Business and functional knowledge on Global Trade Compliance to be able to create best solutions for import / export of physical movement of products
Supply Chain Continuity Planning knowledge
Tech service management & delivery/Technology Platform Management​
Foundational modern technologies​
DevOps and agile methodology​
Stakeholder Management and strong communication skills in English
