Connected Experience is a unit within R&D which includes Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, In-car and Remote Applications as well as Data- & Diagnostics Platform. The eART Solution Integration & Release is supporting the complete product stream by continuously integrating our products on a domain level and by releasing domain baselines according to the needs of the car projects.

Our mission is to provide fast and valuable feedback from SW- & HW integration and release and to support and give guidance for the total need for verification tools, frameworks and test objects and set up test environments for both ART verification and Solution Integration testing. We are also securing the mechanical integration across the Product Stream. 

Within the product stream Connected Experience in the Solution Integration & Release department, we are looking for a new team member in our Connected Car Support Team – a Connected Car Incident Manager. Is it you?

You will be part of a highly motivated team of engineers that works with operational support for connected IT services (Connected Car and Consumer Application) globally. You will interact with other organisations such as R&D, business & marketing departments and support organisations worldwide. Our target is to deliver premium in car connectivity services to our end users.

 In this role you will
• Solving major incidents in relation to connected car and act as Incident Manager on Call (IMOC) being the escalation point for our major incident managers. The team operates 24/7 on schedule.
• Act as support lead for service/component development teams including operational stability and continuous improvements.
• Monitor the incidents related to connected car and manage workload in their respective queues

 Your technical skills are
• Background in applications operations/support
• Familiar with troubleshooting & reading log files
• Basic understanding of Cloud Hosting Solutions
• Basic understanding of databases (Postgre SQL, mySQL, Cassandra) and messaging (MQ, Kafka).

 If you also have experience from some of the below it is a plus
• Experience of IT operations, e.g. ITIL
• Basic knowledge of Mobile Network Operations
• Basic knowledge of Amazon Cloud
• Basic knowledge of IT Security operation
• Exposure to RESTful APIs and Web Services
• Exposure to E-commerce platform / payment solutions
• Volvo Cars systems TIE, GIP, CAS & IDDS
• Service Now
