HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
We are now hiring a Construction & Commission Manager to HVDC Sweden, a business line within Hitachi Energy. You will report in the line to the C&C Manager, tender teams to the Tender Manager and a part of the Core Tender Team.

For this position we are flexible in terms of location!
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the HVDC site works tender and for tender constructability review
You have responsible for reviewing and adapting customer input documents related to site works
You will be reviewing and adapting input documents from other Hitachi Energy departments to C&C department
Have the responsible for fact finding trips to site
Participate together with SCM in Inquiries process and calculate tender costs for site works administration and supervision
You will be responsible for final update of tender site works costs

Your background
Good if you have Mechanical Eng. Preferably M.Sc.
At least a couple of years’ experience from installation/civil cost calculation or equal
Preferably experience as estimator/cost calculator
Fluent in English written and spoken, preferably other languages
Good at handling people, such as Managing Director for civil companies
Capable of handling all M.S software’s and have skills at time planning
Good if you feel comfortable to speak up in meetings, when needed
