Position Overview: As a Planner at Northvolt in Skelleftea, you will play a vital role in the efficient planning and coordination of production activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials, resources, and processes align seamlessly to meet production targets and customer demands while adhering to Northvolt's commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization, meet customer delivery requirements, and minimize production lead times.
Materials Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components required for production.
Capacity Planning: Monitor production capacity and plan workforce and equipment accordingly to meet production goals.
Inventory Control: Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce holding costs while ensuring materials availability.
Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts to support production planning.
Production Coordination: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and quality control, to ensure smooth production processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning and make necessary adjustments to ensure targets are met.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all planning activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using planning and ERP software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Knowledge of sustainability principles and commitment to environmental responsibility.
