The Team
The Content Writer will be part of the Web & Content Team, who are tasked with building a world class web experience that supports our business objectives. This team sits within our Acquisition and Growth department within Marketing. Acquisition and Growth supports Detectify’s product-led growth, drives demand for our sales organization and engagement in our community of ethical hackers.
What you’ll get to do
With a genuine passion for cybersecurity, you will be responsible for the creation, planning, editing and publication of copy across our web properties - blog.detectify.com, labs.detectify.com and the detectify.com website. This includes creating blog posts, e-books & whitepapers, website copy, bylined articles, and social media copy. You will also have a key role in providing copy guidance and feedback on marketing campaigns across all teams, including newsletters, product updates, ad copy and more.
You are a strong communicator, creative, and have top writing skills, and can embrace the Detectify tone of voice in your work.
More specifically, in our cross-functional team, you will:
Create compelling and engaging content across our web properties that generates awareness and top of the funnel demand.
Create and manage the editorial calendar and work alongside the Web & Content Manager on the overall content strategy.
Collaborate with team members on PR initiatives, product updates and security research.
Drive your own content planning and production, alongside managing the overall editorial calendar for our blogs.
Help with proofreading, restructuring and editing copy across the marketing department.
Stay up to date on the latest cyber and External Attack Surface Management trends, and propose new content ideas accordingly.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine potential topic ideas and translate their expertise into compelling thought leadership content.
Ensure alignment with the Web & Content Team Manager on our SEO strategy and proactively implement SEO best practices across web copy.



Who you are
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Native English.
Several years of experience writing and editing content, preferably in appsec or other tech industries. Experience with cybersecurity is a strong plus.
You are skilled at writing, editing and communicating within B2B, with a demonstrated portfolio.
You have strong knowledge in SEO and SEO best practices.
You can manage your own time, deadlines and projects accordingly.
