Continental Buyer - Aftermarket

Adecco är världens största rekryterings- och bemanningsföretag.I Sverige har vi för närvarande ca 50 kontor och 5000 anställda. On behalf of one of our clients in Gothenburg are we looking for a Continental Buyer - Aftermarket.The position opens in February.Your tasks and responsibilities: * Manage the European aftermarket activity for his/her portfolio * Support product developments and modifications in terms of: o Supplier's involvement, product prices and procurement lead-times according the GDP.o Help to implement the quality assurance plan for the item.* Perform the activities required for purchasing items as follows: o Perform negotiations o Optimize the total production costs together with the various Departments (Quality, logistics, plants...).o Handle purchasing requisitions.o Prepare tools investment files.* Work with the global business approach within the responsibility.* Search for opportunities to improve the items cost and take action to implement them.* Contribute to global strategies (knowledge about the global supplier market) and action plans.* Contribute to the achievement of the global KPI's by implementing strategies and cost saving activities.* Manage the working relationships with suppliers * Update the files and purchasing database for his/her portfolio.The following qualifications are required: Experience in the field above, we think you have at least a few years working experience from purchasing.Commercial/business or technical degree or similar.Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.(Working language is Swedish and English).As a Continental Buyer you are expected to: Be a team player Be a network builder and have good communication skills Be organized Have lots of energy and be open to new challenges Be able to set priority and make quick decisions What do we offer?You will be employed as a consultant at Adecco, and will work with various assignments that match your skills.Your ambitions will hopefully give us the opportunity to convey interesting assignments on attractive companies.In the short time you will get a broad experience and a large network.Are you interested?Applications must be inside The recruitment process will be ongoing during the application period.
