Continuous Improvement Manager

Responsibility

We are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager/Coordinator within Wood Coatings to our site in Kristinehamn. The position is a permanent employment and you will be reporting to the Site Manager.

The CIM lead and develop Continuous Improvement for the site according to guidelines, policies and goals. The role involves implementation of ALPS (AkzoNobel Leading Performance System).
ALPS ensuring company-wide standardized processes, a culture of continuous improvement, process-centric behaviors, company values and required capabilities.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Push, coach and follow up the management team on site in working with identify and eliminate/decrease waste within Supply Chain.
- Help the site to define Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Train employees in the meaning of continuous improvement and explain different KPIs.
- See to that the site?s personnel are informed regularly about the improvements done.
- Develop a strategy for visual systems and transfer of best practices within the site.
- See to that the site is regularly informed about KPIs for waste streams within Supply Chain.
- To write and follow-up an improvement plan for the site?s ALPS work.



Job requirements/Candidate profile

To be successful in this position you should:
- Hold a University Degree in Chemical/Mechanical and have g ood overall knowledge of technology and chemistry.
- Have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience from the industry, including production, maintenance and QHSE&S.
- Have experience from a managerial position and interest in developing own leadership capabilities

As a person you?re humble, structured and a judge of character. You are a good communicator, verbal as written in both the Swedish and English language
