Academic Work is now looking for a full-time Contract and Procurement assistant to the Procurement section at an EU-institution for three months with good chances of extension.

This assignment is part of our personnel placement, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work but will work as a consultant at one of our customer companies.

TASKS:
As a contract and procurement assistant you are expected to perform some or more of the following tasks:

* Support the procurement section
* Provide support to the procurement officer for contract management activities
* Managing the appointments for procurement and drafting contract documents
* Verify that completeness of documents that need to be send for a tender and file, scan and prepare documents
* Notify tenderers, prepare letters and manage the archiving
* Provide administrative and clerical support
* Provide support with updating templates, guidelines, checklists

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE REQUIRED:

* A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma

* Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience

* Proven experience and knowledge within contracting and administration

* Knowledge and understanding of financial processes and financial systems

* Good knowledge in English, both spoken and written

* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

* Discretion in handling confidential information

* Good administrative skills

As a person, you have excellent organizational skills. You are a team player and have the ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage responsibilities. Furthermore, you are service oriented and humble.
