Volvo Car Corporation designs,develops, manufactures and markets Volvo Cars all over the world. Its research and development mostly takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden. Volvo Cars IT (VC IT) is since one year part of the Process & Operational Excellence (POE) organization at Volvo Cars. The IT Finance department is
responsible for the POE staff function as well as control, track and monitors the total IT-spending at Volvo Cars. The IT Finance department consists today of 7 employees and we are now looking to employ a controller to the Information Technology Infrastructure department. This position is today held by an agency that will leave our department.
The position is focused mainly on controlling the internal Volvo Cars IT's
spending.
Major Responsibilities:
Cost controlling for ITI (Information Technology Infrastructure)
Budget & Forecasts
Product calculations for internal price list for IT services
Control that financial processes are in place and followed within responsibility area
Develop principles, processes and tools to improve cost control
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent working experiences
Experiences from budget and forecasting work
Good knowledge and understanding of IT terminology
Good knowledge of SAP/R3 & Excel
Personal Profile:
Process orientation; structured and logical in approach
Proactive and with the ability to prioritize
Result oriented; focused on delivering on time and budget, as well as following up result
Ability to work in team with both technical and finance staff
Proficiency in understanding and interpreting financial information and to communicate the information in a clear and concise way
Communication skills and fluent in English
