Bistro Bell is a restaurant located on the pedestrian main street of the old town in Alcudia, Mallorca. Bistro Bell is open for lunch and dinner and has a capacity of 35 covers on the street terrace and 20 inside. The menu is presenting local ingredients in a global setting. Several classics are side-by-side original Bistro Bell dishes. The kitchen and service team consists of six persons. The restaurant is open from April through October. Bistro Bell has Scandinavian owners and the company language is English.
Cook
The cook is working directly under the chef. During the week the cook sometimes work alone and needs to take full operational responsibility. The cook needs to assist the chef regarding purchasing procedures and in all operational work.
We believe that you are a person with education and experience from a la carte cooking. You need to speak good English and if you know some Spanish it is a plus. You are a person who looks for interesting experiences and you can function well in a foreign environment as well as in a highly stressful situation. You are a problem solver and you are capable of being flexible. You are also very social and enjoy to work close to other people. More than anything you are truly interested to learn new things and a passion for good food.
The employment starts 1 May and finishes for the season 30 September. The salary is according to agreement. The company will provide Social Security and insurance according to Spanish law. If you are in need of housing we will assist you in finding an accommodation.
