Katedralskolan in Lund, Sweden, is a non-denominational, coeducational, secondary school of approximately 1320 students, situated in the south of Sweden.Katedralskolan is authorized to offer International Baccalaureate, Diploma programme, since 2001.The IB section comprises some 130 students at DP and year 10. We offer the following position: Coordinator 50% in combination with teaching at DP, the school year 2007/08, ref nr 07- 026.Qualifications Enthusiasm and strong commitment to the IB concept.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Certified teacher and excellent teaching skills.Able to lead and work well in a team environment.Attitudes and skills required for a cross-cultural environment.At least two years experience as a DP Coordinator/teacher or similar.Native English is desired.Knowledge and understanding of Swedish culture and education is an advantage.Responsibility Organize professional development and implement DP.Provide leadership in planning and organizing team sessions and other development activities around DP.Guide and work closely within the programmes and practices of DP.Lead the teaching team to design and implement the DP to be delivered with influences of the national curriculum.Collaborate with teachers and MYP coordinator on planning days and other activities around PYP/MYP and DP.Perform other related duties as assigned Södergatan 22, 223 33 Lund, Sweden.Application must be sent in by the 20th of May 2007.
