Northvolt has an exciting job opportunity for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our stellar team in Stockholm. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt's mission is to enable the future of energy by manufacturing the greenest battery on earth, and in turn play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society.

You will be working closely with the Finance team on fundraising, reporting and communication with various types of investors. Our aim is to attract both debt and equity investors as well as financing from other type of sources including funding for innovation and research programs etc. We are looking for someone to drive competitive analyses, industry research, and other work to support investors in understanding Northvolt as an attractive investment opportunity.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist in the fundraising work towards debt and equity investors
- Assist in preparing the debt and equity opportunity positioning together with the overall management team and external advisors
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining financial models for the evaluation of investments or projects, financing, and for budgeting purposes
- Assist in the preparation and publication of annual reports, quarterly reports and monthly reports towards various stakeholders
- Together with internal stakeholders drive the company strategy, revenue and cost budget setting processes
- Preparation of internal management documentation/information
- Performing research to gather data to use in financial models, including external research on companies and markets

Education/Experience

- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Experience from one of the top-tier investment banks or private equity firms is preferred
- Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is a plus

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt’s team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, it will be Europe’s largest battery cell factory and produce 32 GWh worth of capacity annually.
