Cost Controller till Actavis

The U.S. pharmaceutical company Watson Pharmaceuticals acquired November 1, 2012 Actavis Group. The product portfolio has after the merger with Watson, about 800 products in the pharmaceutical and personal care. The North Europe headquarter is situated in Stockholm.


Tasks
As Cost Controller at Actavis you will be part of the Accounting & Tax Team North Europe, consisting of five persons. Your duties will include preparation of reports, both internal and external, in order to ensure compliance. This will be done accurate to ensure high quality according to accounting standards and deadlines. You are responsible for reconciliations of inventory, balance sheets accounts and transfer prices.  Tasks within your area of responsibility will also include calculation of inventory provisions for month end and report monthly submissions to consolidation. Further you will update costs and manage calculations for transfer prices as well as standard costs.



Suitable background
We are looking for a candidate with a Business Degree, majoring in accounting, with at least three to five years of experience from Inventory accounting and COGS analysis. Experience of reporting in US GAAP and strong Excel skills is an advantage. As a person, you are communicative with high energy and drive with the desire to continuously develop and improve systems and processes. You are structured and thorough with solution oriented approach. You are a self-starter with excellent social skills. Since we act in an international environment, the role requires strong English skills.
