Aurobay Procurement has started an exciting journey to drive operational excellence and to become an innovative, cooperative, and customer focused procurement organization. We are working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to innovate and pool our skills to address risks and improve outcomes for our customers, factories, colleagues, and their communities. Our focus is to develop & empower an inclusive community and ecosystem in a resilient and business-driven environment. We are now extending our Procurement Business Strategy team to focus on cost optimization of the complete supply chain. You will be part of a great team of 7 experienced colleagues with different responsibilities and background.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for leading and supporting cost optimization activities and forecasting annual savings on the products.

Main responsibilities:

- Work in close cooperation with R&D, finance, Manufacturing Engineering, and other project leaders to drive and identify opportunities.
- Effectively drive and support the cross-functional category teams in optimizing the products.
- Work in early stages of product development to secure and drive design for optimal cost.
- Create and evaluate business cases, follow-up the status of initiatives, identify all related costs and present it in relevant forums.
- Organize and support internal cross functional and/or supplier events to ensure profitability.
- Actively work with continuous improvements to boost and challenge the organization
- Synchronize activities within different projects in order to mitigate resources, identify consequences, and interact with different stakeholders to ensure organization readiness for proposal introduction.
- Report changes in forecast and support actual confirmation to Finance.


Do you fit the profile?

We believe you have a commercial or technical master’s degree, or equivalent working experience in leadership positions is considered beneficial.

- You are a multi-tasker who likes to work on multiple initiatives at the same time.
- You have effective communication and project leading skills.
- It is advantageous if you have theoretical and practical knowledge within the automotive industry.
- Previous experience working in a supplier company is a plus.
- You have a positive mindset

- You have effective reporting skills.
