BASF Coatings Services is a leading paint supplier to the Automotive Refinish industry. We operate in the b2b market with sales of car paint (Glasurit, R-M and baslac) and paint related products and services for automotive refinish repair shops, and we are among the leading players in the industry and in our local markets

For our organization in Sweden, we are now seeking a Country Manager to lead and develop a successful and diverse team



RESPONSIBILITIES

The Country Manager draws up and implements a sales and marketing plan in accordance with the Global business strategy. Within BASF Coatings Services AB the Country Manager will assume responsibility for sales management of the entire Swedish sales team in Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions department. Your main responsibilities will be:

Keep an international high performing team motivated by ensuring the right team setup, people involvement, development, coaching on a regular and needs base, including taking disciplinary action once required

Ensure excellent customer relationship management. Establish and maintain personal relationships with key players (e.g. top management by top customers) and key influencers from the industry (e.g. insurance companies, work providers,…)

Bear responsibility for the development and implementation of country strategies under EHS and compliancy rules and regulations

Achieve the budgets and KPI’s targets defined for the country and key strategic accounts (annual and mid-term plans). Ensure positive customer balance

Effectively communicate and share best practices within the internal organization. Be an active and valuable member of the regional management team



QUALIFICATIONS

You have several years of leadership experience in a similar role

Sales management experience and deep knowledge of the refinish market. Distribution network experience is a plus

Presentation and communication skills

University degree in business management or similar

Full professional proficiency in English and Swedish
