Description
We are looking for a course developer with a technical background and a genuine interest to convey complex technical and non-technical subjects by applying high pedagogical, communicational and interpersonal skills.
Your Role
To develop Snap-on for product training courses towards the Automotive and Truck & Bus industry. This includes trainings towards our distributors and end user customers. You will participate in development and launch projects as a subject matter expert and have the responsibility to drive, lead and develop competence development courses & solutions according to global standards, agreed plan and expectations.
The role will include interactions with stakeholders such as customers, product management and other business areas within the company. You are a member of the Academy EMEA team and travel regularly between our offices in Göteborg and Örebro, as well as to other sites globally.
To be successful in this role you have extensive experience in course development for classroom training, as well as in delivery methods such as e-learning, virtual classroom training and creating tutorial videos. Experience in working with VR and AR for training purpose is a plus.
Required Skills and Knowledge
It is required to have several years’ experience in technical course development in an adult learning context.
Good pedagogical, strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to explain complex technical and non-technical subjects.
Documentation of professional development in online course design, virtual & traditional classroom training material and tutorial videos.
Language: Fluent in Swedish and English. Other languages are an advantage.
Required computer and administrative skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects with a structured work approach
Driven, inspiring self-learner with proven experience as a functional leader.
University degree or similar experience.

Desired Skills
Experience in training delivery.
Automotive workshop experience.
Automotive engineering.

The role is based in Göteborg and will require some domestic and international travel.
