CPQ Application Engineer/Developer, Gdynia (Poland) or Esbjerg / Ballerup (Denmark)
Are you already an expert in Configure-to-Order (CTO) product development lifecycle or are you looking to change your existing Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) career from Salesforce, SAP, Configit, Oracle, SAP? Then you are the one we are looking for!
At Semco Maritime, you will be joining our dedicated Product Line Team in our Renewables Department, where you will be implementing solutions for our modular Offshore Substation AC Product Line. In the future, it will also contain HVDC substations, floating substations, and PtX concepts. Offshore substation industrialisation is the key enabler for the green transition worldwide. We have the largest project portfolio within offshore substations worldwide, so you will join a company in growth!
Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Product Line CPQ Application Engineer/Developer, you will be responsible for product configuration models and development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the offshore substation CPQ based on the Tacton software environment. Your day-to-day contacts will be within the Product Line team with peers, architects, managers.
Your development and maintenance tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Product configuration models
- Execution of testing framework, processes, and scripts including data testing
- Output documentation in DocGen, Tacton modelling and configuration
- Tacton release management and administration
- Master data management
- Configuration visualisation in 2D and 3D
- Integrations to other business systems
The successful candidate will be expected to form strong working relationships with the other existing teams e.g., in sales, tender, project management, construction, and the engineering organisation.
Your profile & qualifications
You are someone who thinks in a data-centric manner as well as use your analytical mindset to find solutions for complex problems. Furthermore, you are comfortable with product modelling and configuration.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- Have a relevant degree in computer science, engineering or similar
- Must have CPQ system development experience (Tacton certification is preferred)
- Possess excellent communication skills in English
- Have scripting experience, eg JavaScript, Python, or similar
- Electrical or mechanical knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement
- Have experience in development in sprints and using tools such as Jira and GitHub
Digitalisation and automatization experience will give you an advantage.
Having an experience from CTO manufacturing process or BIM is an advantage.
The job will involve travelling up to 20 days a year.
