About the position
Perido is looking for a Credit & collection specialist for our client Ralph Lauren. They’re a global leader in design, marketing, and distribution of premium lifestyle products in five categories: apparel, accessories, home, fragrances, and hospitality. You will be a part of the Credit and Collection team, responsible for the overall Credit and Collection activities in the Nordic countries and the Baltic states. The position is placed in central Stockholm
Your daily tasks
In this role, you will be a part of the Credit and Collection team. They are the main Finance contact with the region who works closely with the Sales department. Your mutual goal if to optimize the business and prevent bad depts.
As the Credit & collection specialist, you will contribute to the development of continuous process improvement initiatives and best practices through leverage of technology and effective collaboration with the Sales Operations team, and other business partners. Your daily tasks will consist of the following:
Credit risk analyses of new and existing customers (B2B)
Credit limit reviews incl. risk class and proposal of payment terms
Collection of overdue debts incl. liaise with external collection agency
Liaise with Legal and external collection agencies
Distribute pro-active reminders and account statements
Credit held order review
Set up seasonal payment plans, follow up and evaluate
Co-operate with A/R team in India to solve unapplied cash, matchings etc.
Close cooperation with Sales operations- and Sales team
Customer visits in the showrooms during markets and in-store
Prepare various analysis and month-end reporting
Maintain ad-hoc projects on an as-need basis

Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we need you to be a result-oriented person, who’s flexible and can manage multiple deliverables. You are not afraid of taking initiatives in client representation and in meetings. You should have both the ability to work independently and know how to prioritize your work when needed. Furthermore, we see that you have a “can-do” and problem-solving attitude.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Credit Control and/or Finance roles.
High system proficiency (multiple systems handling)
Proficient user of SAP and Excel
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written English and Swedish

Meritorious
Previous experience in a multinational company/regional headquarter preferred

Contract type and hours
Full time position, permanent employment with a probationary period of 6 months. Start according to agreement.
