Custom Design Engineer
We are now looking for a driven Engineer with background in either mechatronics, test and/or SW programming to work with customer specific solutions for the automatic control of industrial doors and docking solutions. We believe you are driven to meet goals, think on your feet and take responsibility for solving the tasks at hand. You can expect to work with a wide range of products and tasks within this organisation. Responsibilities and challenges:

• Help establish and set up this new department within the Landskrona site
• Analyse design requests from a variety of stakeholders and give rapid feedback with time and costs estimates.
• You will be expected to take the responsibility from order intake and drive through the solution to customer delivery, in accordance to the expectations which you have agreed with the stakeholders
• You need to be able to travel regularly as and when needed (mainly Sweden but also Europe) and sometimes at short notice
• You will be working closely with our supply chain colleagues in Czech Republic and as such international work experience will be seen as an advantage
• Your mind-set needs to be focused on safety and as such you need to ensure solutions are tested/evaluated according to the applicable safety standards

Qualification:

• Experience of producing production and end user documentation as well as test reports or similar in a pedagogic manner.
• Knowledge of working in MRP/ERP systems including e.g. building BOM structures and working with order follow ups and status
• At least one of the following skill areas: -Mechatronics -Electronics -System test -Programming of automation/PLC´s or other devices for execution of tests etc.
• Knowledge or interest to learn the relevant directives for CE marking as well as accelerated lifetime tests
• Ability to communicate in both Swedish and English
• We expect you are process orientated and have preferably been exposed to working with lean concepts as well as continuous improvement concepts
• CAD experience (mechanical and/or electronic)
• Experience of third party test labs (SP, UL, TÜV)
A degree of commercial knowledge can be beneficial in this role.
• Experience of Development Process and NPI process
