Customer Pre-Acceptance Test Engineer

UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.Through UCG recruitment we also help companies with permanent staff.All our openings require at least three years work experience from the IT business. For work with our customer we are looking for a Customer Pre-Acceptance Test Engineer The aim of this role is to plan, order, coordinate, follow up, analyse and report specific part of the product SW test (called Customer Pre-Acceptance Test), which is based on operator specification. Your main tasks will be: * Make & maintain Customer Pre-Acceptance Test plans for products in your responsibility.* Contact with different test entities to ensure that tests are executed as planned * Co-operate and communicate with operators regarding test execution and errors * Analyze and report test results in relevant tools and to SW Test Managers * Follow up on reported SW errors within R&D and provide support, re-test etc.We offer you a job in a professional SW team working with cutting edge technologies.You will have a big impact on delivering high quality SW for our products that makes a difference for people all over the world.Job requirements We expect you have a strong interest in SW test and quality assurance and have a B.Sc.in electronics or equivalent.In addition you: Have SW background Have experience in SW test, preferably on application level Have flair for planning and organizing your own work Have a few years relevant work experience within telecommunication or similar technologies Good at prioritizing & managing multiple tasks/projects Excellent communication and presentation skills Customer oriented and service minded Fluent in English both oral and written Team player The job requires excellent planning and organizing skills in order to ensure overview, prioritization and optimal execution of Customer Pre-Acceptance Test.You set high standards for quality and have a positive attitude towards new ideas and change initiatives.You need to have the capability to understand complicated test specifications and to be able to prioritize and propose improvement of test ware.To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.We would like applicants to submit a detailed CV in Word-format.In this ad we are primarily looking for employees, but we also invite persons operating their own companies to apply.We decline approaches from recruiters and other sales persons.
