Customer Support Engineers - PDU OSS Opportunities exist for Customer Support Engineers to join our Research & Development Centre in Athlone. Successful candidates will play an essential role in handling customer service requests. Candidates should posess strong analytical skills and be proven problem solvers. The successful candidates will be able to add, to an already successful team, their experience and dedication to providing high standards to a large customer/client base. Essential Experience: The candidates should have skills in three of the following areas: . Scripting / Programming: Java, Perl, CORBA, SQL . Databases: Administration of object (Versant) and relational (Sybase) databases (3+ years' proven experience) . Networks: ATM/IP, GPRS, and/or GSM, WCDMA and IMS from either a telecom manufacturing company or telecom network operator is essential . At least 3 years Unix/ Solaris SA experience as a Certified Administrator . Proven TCP/IP and Veritas training (Advance Unix SA, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster) . 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in GSM OSS/ RANOS/ OSS RC . GSDC (Global Service Delivery Centres) certified support Engineer . XML Certified
