Customer Support VAS/IN Engineer

3GNS is a mobile system consulting company with main focus on the 3G system.A growing telecom market brings along the opportunity to work at 3GNS with developing services both in Sweden and in several other counties. We are now looking for Customer Support Engineers with experience in Nokia VAS and/or Nokia IN platform in order to plan and perform technical activities to service our customer and bring expertise to customer site need basis. Key responsibilities - Plan and execute technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area.- Work independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes.- Identify and solve technical problems.- Share knowledge in own professional area.- Support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty - Independently carry out installation and/or commissioning and/or integration activities.- Network expansion activities and SW maintenance activities such as installation & test of technical/change notes /change deliveries.- Technical/customer acceptance testing.- Technical support tasks including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting within own competence area.- Participate in fault management and/or help-desk activities and emergency support activities.- Provide support for complex technical activities such a SW upgrades and technical audits.- On-site support at customer's premises and participating in network operation service (NOS), where applicable. - Implement parametering in the network elements subsystems (understanding of KPI and the impact on the performance of the system).- Feedback and co-ordination with Network Planning.Mostly own project customer interface and with the role of customer responsible person in his/her own competence area.- If requested, execute above-mentioned activities in other support-site/country. Key competences and skills needed for the position - Typically 4-6 years relevant experience - Experience in Nokia 2G and 3G equipment - Degree: MSc., BSc.or equivalent - Applications understanding - Network Implementation - Internet Technologies - Roll-Out services - Nokia IN platform and/or Nokia VAS platform - HP UNIX, Oracle - Fluency in English, written and oral - Creative & Innovative and Delivering Quality & Results - Good experience in communicating and collaborate with different groups/teams - Analytical and conceptual thinking - Customer service orientation - Integrity and credibility - Planning and organizing skills - Problem solving skills As a person you are positive, flexible and organised.You enjoy working in a various environment and you feel great responsibility for what you do.You need to be able to work both independently and take initiatives as well as working in a group.You are interested in career opportunities with new challenges to bring out your potential.
