As the Cyber Security Engineer you will be part of a small shared service team that support, drives cyber issues within the hole department Exterior system. You will work in all phases of the until launch phase including customer quality validation. This is a key role for Volvo Cars Cyber Security.
In the ART Exterior Systems you will be a key contributor to the next generation of Volvo Cars and you will gain a wide network across the different Arts in the agile organisation.

What you will do
You will live and breathe cybersecurity. Be the contact person for the ART towards CSMS. Responsible for what the ART must do regarding Cyber security to attain program type approval. Educate and train the ART in Cyber security. Review supplier Cyber security processes and support the teams in joint reviews. Build a technical knowledge related to the products that ART Exterior Systems is responsible for.
Search and find solutions and create when not available. Cybersecurity is not a ready-made bed; it will require a lot of engineering and is continuous changing.

You and your skills
Greatly meritorious background
•    MSc/BSc within electronics, software or similar and more than 4 years of experience from SW and system design work.
•    Deep knowledge in ISO SAE 21434 / UNECE UN 155 along with cybersecurity awareness and experience
•    Strong problem-solving skills to analyse CS issues and requirements
•    Knowledge and experience in CS threat analysis and risk assessment process and techniques (TARA)
•    Familiar with STRIDE / EVITA / HEAVENS
•    Experienced in SystemWeaver, CARCOM and Teamcenter

Meritorious background
•    Implementation of secure Software systems, e.g. crypto, security protocols, key handling
•    Security mechanisms, security access & SW signing, fuzz & pen-testing
•    Background in system design, implementation, testing, automation, integration or maintenance using C/C++ or Python3
•    ASpice, AUTOSAR, UDS
Knowledge about Volvo electrical architectures (SPA/CMA/GPA) is very meritorious in this position – if you don’t have knowledge of this it is something you will be able to learn.
