Data Analyst

Starbreeze is now looking for a Data Analyst. As a Data Analyst at Starbreeze you will be an important link between business and game development. You will support production, marketing, business development and publishing with analysis and insights, and help shape our current and future products. You will play a critical role in improving user experience and retention of our players and increase longevity of our games.

Job tasks:

- Designing and maintaining the game telemetry to accommodate new features and design changes
- Identify areas for improvements in current and future titles
- Daily monitoring of game performance and core KPIs
- Reporting your results to studio management and game teams through dashboards or reports
- Performing regular deep-dive analyses to investigate player behavior
- Build strong relationships with other departments to ensure the best use of available data across projects, teams and studios


Must Have:

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization software
- Knowledge or willingness to learn SQL, Python, or any other language that makes getting to the data more efficient
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Applied Math, Management Information Systems or a related discipline
- Mastery of English both verbally and in writing


Good to have:

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with metrics-driven decision making and strong communication / presentation skills. In addition, she or he is passionate about video games. Experience with digital marketing analytics would be considered a plus.
