Poolia is recruiting a proactive, structured and collaborative Data Compliance Officer to the Scandinavian headquarter in Malmö of a larger international listed group. Are you interested in supporting the local management in Sweden and Denmark regarding the GDPR and data compliance? Would you like to work both with a strategic and operational focus? ABOUT THE POSITION
You are offered a challenging and developing position in an international environment. You will work with a professional and dedicated team on a Scandinavian and European level.

The position will be part of the Compliance team and you will work closely with our sales, marketing, procurement and IT functions. There will be regular interactions with the European headquarter departments. You will also work with other compliance areas.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Support, coordinate and monitor the entity-specific implementation of Data Protection requirements and coordinate actions with local management.
• Establish and maintain employee awareness of data protection topics including providing trainings.
• Prepare local work instructions and procedures within Data Protection. Lead and support local coordination of Incident Management.
• Set-up and regular update of record of processing activities. Support Data Protection Impact Assessments in relation to such activities.
• Ensure appropriate handling of complaints and data-subject requests.
• Consult and support the departments on information obligations, deletion concepts, privacy by design/default and other data protection related topics. Consult and support the departments on Data Analytics use cases.
• Monitoring of new data laws and regulations and identification of local implementation needs.
• Alignment with the European headquarter functions responsible for data protection and data compliance.

Some travel will be required in Scandinavia and in Europe.

You will report to the Compliance Manager for Sweden and Denmark.

ABOUT YOU
We believe you have 2-5 years of relevant experience regarding Data Protection, Data Compliance and the GDPR. You probably have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law or IT.

Previous experience from a law firm, a consultant company or an auditing corporation would be valuable.

You should have a sound understanding of change management and how to implement compliance management systems in multi-national organizations.

You should enjoy working in an international, dynamic and fast-changing environment, in which you are able to create structure and order, and you should be comfortable in delivering output independently and on short deadlines. You are curious, willing to learn new things and have an inner drive of finding ways to solve queries within your area of responsibility that create values for the organization the colleagues that you are supporting. You have good analytical and communication skills. On top of this, you have high integrity and a good judgment.

Excellent business English, and fluency in Swedish and/or Danish is a requirement.
