We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team within Technical Service (TS). We have the responsibility to deliver and coordinate technical support for Volvo heavy duty conventional and electric trucks towards market companies and importers, and are the link between the market and design departments at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. We contribute to the Product Development process with our field and aftermarket expertise.


This is the role
Within TS we annually resolve more than 25 000 support cases, each representing a customer concern. As Data Engineer at TS you will be Product Owner for TS data management platform and responsible for securing and preparing vehicle generated data, supporting our Product Specialists to analyze issues in customer trucks. You will also contribute to conceptualizing data analyze innovation projects and yearly DA development plan etc. You will work in close corporation both with our Product Specialists, as well as market companies/importers and internal Volvo Group customers.

This is you
Minimum B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equal
You have documented programming skills in HTML, SQL, Python, Java, .net, C++, C#, Knime etc
You have documented experience with machine learning and visualizations
You have experience, or strong interest, in automotive technologies and connected services
Fresh from university? -Warmly welcome!

Experience in RPA is an added advantage.
