You will be based in Stockholm in a modern office setting in our multinational and diverse HQ
As the Data Engineering Team Lead for our Marketing & Consumer Analytics Solution Team, you will be both building and leading a group of Data Engineers, Modellers & visualization experts in driving the mission to becoming data driven. You will be guiding your team who are responsible for enabling technically the translated business requirements into analytical products, helping to bring new insights alive. We are looking for a leader who can inspire the team, allowing them to thrive, as well as someone who can provide the needed support and coaching when necessary. Working collaboratively with our Analytics Analysts & Data Architect, maintaining a clear dialog and planning will be key enablers to success.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Consumer Analytics you will be responsible for:
• Mentoring and leading the team of Engineers driving their personal and professional development
• Understanding and instilling industry best practice for Data Ingestion & Modelling related to the technical toolset
• Driving the data literacy mindset towards visualization through Self Service empowerment for end user communities
• Ensuring the development model supports high speed and good quality deliverables with the ability to build faster, build in parallel and release often
• Advocating modern ways of software development and being an ambassador for scrum and SAFe frameworks
• Defining minimum viable product (MVP) scope for the upcoming initiatives and outline future roadmap of enhancements and potential improvements
Qualifications:
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Previous leadership experience as a technical product manager or Lead Data Engineer with a well-rounded understanding for Data Ingestion, Data Modelling & Analytics
• Strong foundation with the MS Azure Products (Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Synapse, PowerBI) & Data Bricks
• Experience developing streaming and batch data pipelines for both Cloud and Hybrid infrastructures
• Experience of Atlassian toolset: Jira & Confluence
• Working experience with modern software development tools such as Github, Jenkins and other build automation tools
