WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a business-focused Data Manager to play a critical role helping us drive our data transformation, bringing experience and energy to change our digital business organisation. Our diverse Data & Analytics team is growing, as we are driving a data revolution to enable our business transformation.
We are looking for someone to join our team who has passion for collaborating with and learning from others, and energy for implementation of data frameworks, policies, and ways of working to secure data as an enterprise resource for the company. This includes playing an active role in implementing data management in our transforming business and championing active management of data to achieve business outcomes.
You believe well-managed data is key enabler of growth, advanced analytics, business opportunities and exploration, as well as compliance. We need someone to play a critical role in implementing and operationalizing data management practices to enable our strategic business objectives across the enterprise.
You have passion for rolling up your sleeves, showing concrete value of managing data, communicating with a variety of stakeholders, and placing big emphasis on fit-for-purpose, high-quality data as a key enabler of business objectives.

And carrying a backpack with:
experience in data management operations, subject matter experience in data-domain (eg, customer) to ensure well-managed data as part of developed products
experience operationalising data management frameworks in global enterprises
proven track-record of driving change with speed, passion, and end-users in focus
experience supporting data management transformation on enterprise level, with experience in ERP environments as well as with master data management in a modern digital product organisation
experience (5+ years) working with data management operations, with a big focus on data management capabilities, master data management, data sharing, enabling advanced analytics, and focused on business outcomes
experience running projects and initiatives, managing multiple projects in parallel
an education in information technology, business, information systems, engineering, legal, finance, economics, or equivalent (at least BS)
good knowledge of data privacy regulations across the globe, including trends and upcoming legislative agenda items

WHAT YOU´LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
You will have a great role in revolutionizing ways for IKEA to interact with our customers, putting data at the heart of all that we do, and finding new business opportunities across the company.
You will secure implementation of data management activities and processes; optimise usage of data and enable compliance to internal rules, and legal and regulatory requirements; establish the importance of high quality and usable data to get business value thereby ensuring accurate, trusted and relevant data in systems, enabling the wider use of data throughout the organisation.
Every day will be different, but you can expect that most of your time will be spent on the following:
maintaining a holistic view of data management activities, compliance, and performance INGKA to optimise data usage and compliance to internal and external rules
implementing data management lifecycle approach, methodologies, and activities in a data domain to establish common ways of working
collaborating to make use of existing data and identifying new potentials for collected data to secure implementation of data management across the lifecycle
understanding the wider Ingka business and business context of data, in order to optimise that it is managed to meet business purpose
identifying and solving complex data management challenges, working collaboratively with co-workers in agile teams and other parts of the business to find and solve root causes and prioritise solutions
building trust and collaborate in domains in order to continuously improve data performance and usage
use root cause research to identify data process breakdowns and together with data architects and data engineers find solutions to the breakdown
enthusiastically helping others learn and adapt to new ways of working, including selling in new requirements and benefits of changes, especially related to managing and optimising the value of data
