Data Scientist

Would you like to be part of a team that delivers data science, user research and market research? Do you want to work closely with the product you’re gaining insights from?
That’s what you will do as part of our new Growth and Insights team here at Toca Boca.
You’ll be the second person in the new cross-functional team of data scientists, user research and market research we are creating. You and your future team will focus on delivering a complete picture of our user base and how they interact with our apps.
You will be delivering easy to understand stories, not numbers without context. The Growth and Insights team won’t simply be a black box where questions come in and answers come out. What you’ll do instead is work closely with the product teams, embedded within their planning and work structure while at the same team sharing all knowledge gained within our own Growth and Insights guild.
What you’ll be doing
You will be working closely with a product development team by delivering structured, analytical research within the teams agile development process.
You will lead the creation and implementation of A/B tests with the product owner and be the go-to person for any insight requests the team might have. For this you will use the scientific method in your research and help the team create clear hypotheses and then test and modify these hypotheses actively. To support this you will also lead the iterative design of the events and attributes we log through our products.
You will regularly share insights gained and any successful research with the whole company and deliver live dashboards and KPI’s for your product.
Is this you?
You are a Data Scientist who has experience implementing data science and machine learning within a cloud platform (Google, AWS), and has good knowledge of languages such as R, Python or SQL.
You are a person with good communication skills and strength at translating insights gained from your research to stories that are widely understandable to anyone.

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months of probationary employment. As we’re an international company, with over 10 nationalities and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English.
