As a Data Specialist within the Product Specification team, you will be responsible for starting new initiatives by finding and bringing new insights, following up and guiding us forward in the product team. The team's mission is to empowers our organisation to drive an efficient and correct specification of the component and product to deliver the best products to our customers that make them look and feel good, when and where they want them. Right now, we are on a big journey to build the future Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process where you will make a significant impact, in parallel with supporting the current PLM solution.




Responsibilities


As a Data Specialist you will be in the center of the action where the product meets business. Together with the team you will collaborate with other cross functional teams and stakeholders, helping to make sure that the product development is in line with the business needs. You will develop a deep understanding of existing business process within the area using data and user insights to build material that will support business decisions. Some of your daily work includes:
Analyze and support future business needs to get a strong understanding of the information structure and data flow to define appropriate improvements to secure end-to-end data flows with high quality
Analyze complex data sets to get insights from data, well-grounded recommendations using creative, effective, structured, and analytical thinking
Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the data metrics
Together with the product team construct the product strategy, including definition of relevant business, OKRs and KPIs

Who are you?
As a Data Specialist you are a great communicator who are ambitious, organized and collaboratively focused. You can ensure that the team drives and prioritizes the right things in a fast-paced and growing business. We believe you have a passion for information modelling and data flow mapping, and you understand what an important role it has within an organisation. You are also a curious challenger with passion for people, business and technology who understands and solves complex functional problems. Furthermore, you have:
At least 3 years of experience as Business/Requirement Analyst, Data Specialist, or similar position with focus on information modelling and data flow analysis
Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Visio, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience of working with business intelligence/data visualization tools such as Power BI and QlikView
Previous experience from working in an agile environment
Good analytical, technical and communication skills, presenting results and solutions in an understandable, concise, and inspirational way

It’s also a plus if you have knowledge in other tech tools/languages such as Tableau, Python, Shell Script, JavaScript, and Data Studio.
