Arbetsbeskrivning
Randstad Technologies are now looking for an experienced database administrator for one of our clients. Here you will be part of a project where you will manage regular maintenance / optimization of databases in the environment and take care of maintenance performed on a daily basis, weekly and monthly on databases and database servers.


You will also handle orders for new databases and dismantle and clean up databases that are no longer used.


Another part of the job is being available as support for application owners who need support with database issues and ensure that backups are working properly and that backups are stored for the time specified in the SLA.


You will also monitor Performance, Performance Optimization and Availability in the Database Environment as well as ensuring that the right licenses in place and assist with renewals of license agreements.

Kvalifikationer
To qualify for the position you need to have prior experience in database administration, at least 2-3 years. You need to have excellent knowledge in MSSQL and MySQL, confident in monitoring, and performance optimization.


You need to be a collaborative person, someone who enjoys working together in a team. You also need to be structured and have the ability to prioritize between tasks. 


Fluent English is required and preferably Swedish as well.
