Elan IT ReSource är ett av Sveriges och Europas ledande företag inom bemanning och rekrytering av IT-personal.Vi erbjuder konsulter och rekrytering inom hela IT-området, från IT-chefer, projektledare och systemutvecklare till nätverks- och supporttekniker.Vi finns i Stockholm, Göteborg och Malmö och har över 750 konsulter i Sverige.Elan är ett bolag inom Manpowergruppen.Securitas Direct AB is currently present in 10 European countries, offering alarm equipment, 24-hour monitoring and alarm intervention services for homes and small businesses.The complete alarm-to-response concept includes installation and customer services, technical maintenance and call-out services.It is a fast growing dynamic company.Our continued growth has created opportunities for a Database Administrator in our Malmö headquarters.Responsibilities -Install, configure, tune, monitor, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot a Sybase database in an IT Production environment -Maintain development, testing, and deployment database instances for the development, test and production environment -Assess/document the status of the database instances, schemas, users and objects as currently installed on different servers and reconfigure if necessary -Administrate user accounts The DBA will establish and maintain security integrity controls in conjunction with the applications and security groups and assist in the design and implementation of a development, testing, QA, and production environments.This includes documentation of production control and backup and recovery processes and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Requirements -BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.Experience within the following areas: -Configuration management processes and administration of Sybase in complex environments -Performing Sybase installations, upgrades and supporting utilities primarily in a Windows 2003 Operating System environment -Knowledge of on-line back-up and recovery procedures -Microsoft SQL Server 2000 -Familiarization with Decentralized and Centralized processing models -Experience with ERWin or a similar DB Modelling tool is a plus The ideal candidate will have ability to work under pressure and in a fast moving, always changing, and growing team environment and can easily identify problems and articulate decisions to outside personnel and team members to gain cooperation and achieve successful completion.You have the ability to think through immediate needs to implement long-term process oriented solutions as well as have the technical capability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems within a production-controlled environment.
