Degree Officer to Stockholm School of Economics

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

- Degree handling and related processes 
- Registration in SSE’s student database and archiving 
- Contact with students, alumni, faculty and staff  
- Participating in the development of digital work methods, routines, and tools for degree handling 
 

The role involves taking charge and independently driving your area of responsibility forward, which means that it is important that you are confident in making decisions.

Qualifications 

You are service-minded and prestigeless with excellent collaboration skills. You are also flexible and can change focus when needed, adept at handling stress, and can prioritize your workload efficiently. 

Required  

- An academic degree/Higher education  
- Experiences specifically from working within higher education and from degree handling processes 
- Experience from working with administration  
- Organization skills and attention to details  
- Good computer skills and experience of digital development work  
- Good communication skills and ability to express yourself clearly and correct in both English and Swedish (oral and written) 

This position is situated in the office of Academic Support & Records (ASR). ASR is a department within the school’s Professional Services which works with degree management, exam coordination, scheduling, system management and records and academic guidance.  The department works continuously to review work routines and strives to gradually introduce digital solutions. There are 10 people working in the department of which two work within the Degree Office.

This is a full-time, permanent, position based in central Stockholm. A 6-month probationary period applies.
