L1 Swedish Technical Support - Dell Nordic Business Support This role is based in the Dell Sweden office, Upplands Väsby Applicants must be fluent in both Swedish and English.Dependable attendance is a requirement of the job.The Technical Support Agent is the first point of contact for Business Support Customers with advanced hardware, operating system and application issues.Technical and customer handling skills are of equal importance in this role.Agents provide phone and/or mail based technical support.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: -Excellent telephone and customer handling skill -Thorough working knowledge of all software currently shipped with Dell client products with advanced knowledge of legacy operating systems and one of the following legacy operating systems: Windows 98, Windows 2000, Window NT or Windows Millennium.-Thorough working knowledge of PC architecture/technology -Thorough working knowledge of Dell supplied applications -In-depth knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of actions based on given guidelines -Ability to analyze and solve technical problems related to client products by investigating potential solutions using troubleshooting skills COMPETENCIES -Highly service minded keeping the customer experience foremost in the mind -Interested in keeping up to date with technical developments on the market -Team player - understanding own role in getting a team to become a winning team COMPLEXITY The role is challenging in that the focus are on the customers experience while at the same time have full control of the costs.Key metrics are followed up daily/weekly and it's important for the technician to understand owns role in Dell's business strategies, to fully understand the focus placed on metrics, that sometimes seems to be contradicting each other. EXPERIENCE -2+years previous experience from technical support -3-5 years experience with computers, hardware and software support.-All experiences working with customer service is advantageous EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION -Certificate/Diploma in computing -PC Maintenance Certification (A+ N+) -Industry Standard Certification Welcome with your application!
