Dell AB is looking for a Regional Service Logistics Manager Principal Accountabilities - Ensuring Dell's CEI and OTFTF metrics (Customer Experience) are managed to targets set by EMEA management, specifically and with sole accountability for those exception codes related to delivery failures eg PND (Parts Not Delivered), LPD (Late Parts Delivered).- Liase with Dell regional Business Unit service operations teams to ensure an understanding of local performance drivers within the region.This will involve liaison with Dell Technical Support, Dell DSP alliance managers and the DSP's themselves.- Full responsibility of physical distribution network within region which includes regional distribution centres, local distribution centres delivering spares into that region, 2 and 4 hour field stocking locations, PUDO's, and WUD locations.- Ownership of reverse logistics within the region to ensure agreed regional targets are met.- Reconciliation of Monthly DLP Invoice - Development and execution of an audit schedule for the above locations, focusing on but not exclusively PUDO's & FSL's and PUDO/FSL process and procedures.This needs to be done in conjunction with the relevant logistics partner supporting the region.Publication of results, root cause of issues, management and tracking of recovery plans.- Drive logistics partners to ensure actions impacting EMF and BU teams for eg daily miss analysis are in place and operational.The above is a large contribution to the exception code PNA.Work with primary PNA owners from EMF in areas of replenishment and DLP performance against SLA.- As a member of the logistics sub council team within service operations, ensure contributions on DLP related matters are communicated and understood by the wider team.- At all times show a proactive approach to problem solving within the region.- Execute process changes within the region as part of the DLP team.Ensure operational performance and cross region uniformity is not impacted by the execution of these same changes.- Ensure Dell's Service Logistics partner performs to contractual or agreed metrics.These metrics will be against Service Level Agreements (SLA's).If no SLA's exist, then document and agree them with DLP for that region in conjunction with EMEA requirements.- Responsible for the commercial spend and costs associated with DLP for that region.Development of cost reduction programs with the wider DLP team members.Education and Experience Preference is for Degree Level Qualification - however relevant operational experience and skills as a minimum.The role is exceptionally varied ie will involve commercials, planning, transport, account mgt.While service related experience would be an advantage ie in a logistics or Third Party maintenance role, candidates will not be restricted on this if capability to show success in position is proven.At least 5 years experience involving either cross functional management experience or in operational account management ie.Partner management.Has to have demonstrated previous success in management and operational roles.Strong people and account management skills and the ability to drive success in others.
