Right now, we are looking for a new Demand Planner to join the Business Area Food Supply Chain team. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impression, as BA Food is on a journey to transform the food business at IKEA across the whole value chain.

Job Description
As a Demand Planner at Business Area Food, you will use different insights to create a demand plan for the portfolio of products under your responsibility, leading to a forecast on an operational and tactical horizon.
You will be part of exciting projects to develop our food range, as well as to develop our digital & process capabilities within the IKEA ecosystem.
As main supply speaking partner with the Retail organisation, you will work closely with the Sales colleagues at BA Food and have direct contact with our Retail markets as well.
You will contribute to building a smarter, slimmer, and more cost-effective supply chain, enabling availability for our customers at the lowest possible cost!

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you:
Have 3-5 years of relevant experience from supply chain, ideally from retail
Have a university degree in business/finance/logistics or relevant experience
Have strong analytical skills with a problem solving approach
Can work with an end to end approach (supplier to customer), as well as dive into fine details when needed
Are a good Excel user and used to build reports
Can establish long-term relationships and collaborate across the functions in the value chain.

You are motivated by problem solving, have good prioritization skills, a positive attitude, and you always look for ways to improve the business together with others. Since we are a truly international environment, you need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written.

The position is permanent and will be based in Malmö office until September 2023, after it will relocate to IOS in Älmhult. At the heart of IKEA in Älmhult we will create the IKEA Food Hub where we will come together across IKEA to deliver on more healthy, sustainable & delicious food.
