Reference number: 403 JOB DESCRIPTION In the position as Demand planner you will work together with the Project and Demand manager closely with Sales, Product Management and Finance.You will have a strong ability in achieving results across organizational borders.This in order to retrieve and present the best forecasting data possible.The positions many interfaces will provide an excellent opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the Axis business, something that is important in order to function well in the position as a Demand planner.Duties will include:[ * Producing an Axis corporate forecast on a regular basis. * System-aided forecasting and planning. * Developing market knowledge and tracking trends, through regular visits to trade shows and sales subsidiaries. * Tracking product portfolio changes and Axis sales project pipeline. * Development of the forecasting process and forecasting tools. * Follow-up of forecasting accuracy, and resulting actions to improve the accuracy. * Align the forecast process with the sales budget process owned by Finance.[ You will report to the Project and Demand manager of Operations.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a bachelor's in business or technology or similar work experience.You're very structured and have a strong interest in data analysis.You have a strong personal drive and the ability to maintain good contacts with several parties simultaneously.WHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU?We can offer you a position where you can really make a difference if you exert yourself.A position that gives you the chance to develop and improve the most important planning data for the entire Operations organization, forecasting.In your work you will meet a team that is highly motivated in getting the best out of the forecast and the forecasting process.You'll work with cutting edge products in an open minded and creative organization already the global market leader in its field - network video.THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT Operations consist of all the functions involved in the supply and distribution flow of Axis products.This comprises Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Customer Order, Demand Management, Quality and Facilities functions.[We make sure that our customers get the products they have ordered, that they get strong customer service on their order status, and that the capital tied up in inventory is managed in a structured way.[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ READY TO ACT?We're in one of the most rapidly growing fields on the planet.We welcome your application and look forward to the possibility of you joining us!
