Deployment Manager

IS Tools AB IS Tools is expanding and is now recruiting a Deployment Manager for employment in our sea-side office in central Stockholm. IS Tools provides a Platform-as-a-Service software product for Cloud Computing based solutions. IS Tools software enables customers to create business applications simply by point-and-click (no programming) and directly run the applications in a private or public cloud. IS Tools has a proven and successful track record running complex and mission critical enterprise applications. IS Tools is a privately owned company based in Stockholm, Sweden. The company was founded in 2003 by its current owners with a vision to provide adaptive, lean, flexible and dynamic information systems for company business processes characterized by change and constant evolvement Deployment Manager The position as a Deployment Manager includes an end-to-end responsibility for all deployment activities in our production environments. As deployment will move into our Operations department, you will have an important role in establishing deployment processes as well as interfaces within the entire organization. We appreciate people who have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with customers on various organizational levels, with different levels of knowledge and coming from different cultures. Our customers are based all over the world and we also have an international mix internally why you must be able to communicate in English. Responsibilities *Liaise with relevant representatives from customers, operations and product management *Establish and maintain internal and external deployment roadmaps *Manage, plan and execute software deployments *Establish and maintain record of server HW/SW *Organize and lead pre/post- deployment acceptance tests *Drive implementation of automated deployment procedures *Establish deployment process Personal skills *Good communication and social skills *Well organized with a talent for service and details *Good leadership skills Experience and professional skills *Experience of deploying software in enterprise environments (required) *Experience of deployment in multi-server cloud environments (preferred) *Experience of project management *Good understanding of following technology areas oScripts oDatabase platforms: MS SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL oWebapplications: HTML, JSP, Java, SQL oTCP/HTTP oApache, JBoss Formal qualifications *MSc or equivalent in an area relevant for the position If you have the right skills, are independent and motivated, we hope to hear from you!
