About the assignment
You secure excellence in supply operational performance, and its further continuous development, by leading a global team of managers & driving the agenda together with the Global Supply Operations Manager, in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders. You secure the availability for our customers at lowest total cost to secure a strong IKEA offer. You secure proactive communication channels and inform our Supply Chain stakeholders in case of deviations in our supply chain. 
In this role you are a part of the Supply Operations management team and report to the Global Supply Operations Manager.

Your main assignments as Deputy Global Supply Operations Manager are:
• Lead Flow Capacity Planning, Flow Replenishment, Flow Performance and ITM-Roll-out Team. Therewith responsible for the Competence Centres in Supply Operations to secure right pre-conditions and achieve long term business development and excellent results in supply operations. Respond to todays need as well as prepare for tomorrow.
• Develop the Action pan together with the GSOM in line with the Focus Areas and Change Drivers. Accountable for Development and performance in all dimensions within the given scope (e.g. share of automatization). 
• Lead development of supply operations ways of working, tools, reports and analysis in close collaboration with Supply Chain Development Areas. 
• People and competence development: Lead, challenges & coach team members, inspire and empower team and individuals to perform the best and continuously develop in their assignment with right long-term direction. Responsible for recruitment, development, performance, retention and succession plan. Drive leadership and the competence agenda - identify needs and gaps, build and implement leadership and competence plans to meet short and long term business needs 
• Stakeholder Management: Develops long-term relationship with SCD Area Managers and external stakeholders in order to identify and implement projects that will contribute to the development supply operations. 
• Take over assignments on behalf of the Global Supply Operations Manager and represent the Global Supply Operations Manager in different forums and meetings. 
• Projects and additional assignments: Lead or contributes to projects or global assignments, if applicable. In some cases can handle additional assignments outside the scope of this document
• Supply Chain Knowledge: Accountable to gather, share and develop high level of supply chain knowledge within the organization
