We are maritime experts with a passion for new ideas and technologies and with an inner urge for change. Our mission is to improve ship performance and work towards better environmental solutions. Our core competency is designing and manufacturing automated fuel-saving and data analysis solutions for vessels. Based on our vast experience in propulsion control systems, customized marine engineering, and hydrodynamics, we are dedicated to making the marine industry more efficient and eco-friendlier. Lean Marine (https://leanmarine.com/) was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2012. Since then, we have shared our passion for innovation with more than 130 vessels operating with our solutions. Together with Oddwork, we’re now on the lookout for a Design Application Engineer. Are you our next co-worker?
As Design Application Engineer
Grab your engineering superpowers, your sustainable visions and your friendliest hugs and get ready to board our ship! Here, you will take the role as captain of making sure the delivered systems can be fitted onto the vessels without hiccups along the way. Not only are you responsible for the custom design process from A to Z to adapt the automation system for the specific vessels, but also for relationships throughout the supply chain. Planning, listening, creating and implementing - those words are the key coordinates to take you towards destination dream job.
We’re looking for someone…
who is humble and careful. Rather than thinking “I wonder what this red button does” you prefer to do your research and stay on the safe side. You are a customer-oriented listener, always weighing different options to find the right piece of the puzzle. When it’s necessary to ask someone, you don’t hesitate. And right, if you´re into project management, the coast is clear when it comes to future responsibilities in this area.
Our three wishes:
- You have an education in electrical or automation engineering and some years of work experience as an engineer in electrical, automation or mechatronics.
- You have experience in electrical CAD software.
- You are fluent in English.
