Design Assistant fashion footwear and accessories

Job description: Studio design assistant to assist design director.
Follow the Design and creative processes for Accessories and Footwear
Good understanding and technical knowledge of construction of accessories, footwear, jewellery and softer accessories
High level of attention to details, trims and well rounded fabric and supplier knowledge of Italy and Spain
Exceptional hand drawing skills required
Good team spirit, highly motivated and hands on approach
Previous experience working with global and luxury material and coponent suppliers for footwear and bags
Fluent in Spanish, English and good level of Italian conversational
Very structured and highly organized
Has a BA in fashion and high level award
Design experience 1-2 years in a luxury, contemporary brand
Technical drawings and knowledge of all CS programs
Pattern cutting and 3D sample making
Fittings, photoshoots and sample development
Support with general running of the studio
Asssistimng with sample trackers
Liase with suppliers and has good communication and friendly approach
Travel Inspiration and production required 2-4 times a year (post Covid restrictions)
