Design Engineer AIS

We are looking for one dedicated Design Engineer to strengthen our Air intake system team. Your responsibility will components within the air intake system. As a Design Engineer you are installing and designing System components (Dirty side duct, Air cleaners, Clean side ducts, Charge air ducts, hot and cold side), respecting the system requirements in the vehicle.

 

The component design and package may affect functionality, durability, NVH, corrosion, crash safety etc. Our components are in an environment with complex systems and parts and you will work in a wide network of departments with which you will have to build your own personal network to properly integrate the components you represent. You will work in close cooperation with the technical component responsible, a system engineer.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Develop and design components and systems that meets the requirements.
- Deliver package models, secure packaging feasibility within given frames in accordance with the vehicle packaging engineers.
- Represent your immediate components on vehicle package integration meetings.
- Create 3D&2D in Catia V5, for some parts 3D-PMI, and release in Team Center according to defined release routines and release plans.
- For some of the components administrative a large variant complexity.
- Review 3D models and 2D drawings from suppliers to enable release acceptance.
- Participate and drive change management process. Secure that the product structure and part validity is correct to each project milestone. (At CEVT this is the E-BOM and M-BOM).
- Review, analyze and develop requirements and specifications with time and experience.

Profile and Background

Qualifications

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or equal experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of automotive developmen
- Experience within Powertrain development is required
- Documented competence on CATIA V5, Team center engineering
- Excellent in co-operation, networking, team-working
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- You are a skilled user in Microsoft Office
