Design Engineer, Ergonomics

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America You will work as a design engineer with focus on physical ergonomics. The cab is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great importance to our customer. It is today perceived as one of the best on the market and we intend to strengthen this position. Your area of responsibility will be: Physical Ergonomics Ergonomic Analysis Ergonomic Simulations On-site assessment Seating systems Mirrors You will have the following responsibilities: Together with the team create design solutions that fulfil all the demands that are specified in the development projects Be updated on laws and regulations concerning the operator environment Experience: We think that you have a master or bachelor degree of science with focus on physical ergonomics or comparable experience. You should have an interest in developing and improving products from an ergonomic perspective. It is preferable, but not a demand, if you have knowledge in: Catia V5 or similar RAMSIS or similar (Transom Jack, Human Builder etc.)
