Design Modification Engineer

We are looking for an Engineer to strengthen our Manuals & Design Support team. As a Design Modification Engineer you will work with a broad range of products within train connection systems.

Your responsibilities

As a Design Modification Engineer you investigate design modification proposals on drawings and related documents once the design is finalized in a customer project. You will then perform the decided design change.You will also do investigations in design modification proposals and contribute to continuous improvement of applied technical solutions and methods. In this position team work skills are essential since you cooperate with all departments within Engineering and also other functions such as Procurement, Customer Service and After Sales.

You report to Manuals & Design Support Manager. The position is located at our head office in Vika, Falun.

The successful candidate has the following profile
Education & Job experiences:


• Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience of CAD, we use Inventor and Vault.
• Preferably some engineering experience.

Personal skills:


• Good technical understanding and analytical skills
• Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues and other departments
• Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude
• Fluent in spoken and written English and preferably Swedish
