We are looking for a Design Requirement engineer and Global Process Manager.We are looking for a Design Requirement engineer and Global Process Manager Design Requirements on behalf of a Volvo Powertrain.The Complete Powertrain group is located in Göteborg and responsible for complete powertrain design requirements and installation requirements for PD (Product Development).Tasks In this position you will help project leaders to structure and put information together that is vital for the project teamwork and success.The task has two parts, to be Design Requirement engineer and Global Process Manager for Design Requirements.As Design Requirement engineer you are responsible for: . leading the establishment and documentation of engineering design requirements for complete powertrain, engine, transmission and axles.. leading analysis group meetings with the project and different experts concerning different characteristic areas to determine the engineering features, and also perform the documentation..carrying out Design Requirement Reviews with persons involved in the project..releasing the Design Requirement documents.The assignment Global Process Manager for Design Requirements includes: .To lead the global process team with all design requirement engineers on the different Powertrain sites . Responsibility and authority to validate, drive and develop the process operationally.. Responsibility to manage process improvements and train co-workers in the process.. To represent VPT Sweden in the project team of ERSV Phase 2, a project to develop an upgraded system for engineering requirements specification and verification.Qualifications The person we are looking for ha a technical education in relevant area, bachelor degree or more, as well as experience from Powertrain Product Development.You are a team-player whom likes to drive things independently, flexible, full of initiative, organized and patient.You have the ability to listen to experts' competence.To manage this position you need an analytical ability and ability to see overall relationships, the big picture and process flows. The assignment is temporary, starting April, 2008 with a one year duration.
