Design responsible - GM Powertrain Sweden

Ajilon Sweden AB is recruiting partner for GM Powertrain AB Design responsible - Bearings and Seals; GM Powertrain AB General Motors Powertrain - Sweden AB develops and manufactuers engines, engine control systems and transmissions for GM, for example Saab Automobile.We are a part of GM Powertrain which is one of the largest manufacturers of drivelines with over 58 000 employees in more than 14 countries. There is an open position within Engineering in Trollhättan.You will mainly work as design responsible for solutions on bearings and seals etc on gearboxes.You report to the Groupleader (located in Germany) organised within our european HRC for Manual Transmission.Main requirements work content: - definition of bearing concepts to manual gearboxes - bearing/seal expert in project teams - communication with bearing supplier (requirements/calcualtions/concepts etc) - definition of bearing validation - support activities for quality improvement and cost reduction - secure correct status on prototypes - perform preliminary bearing calculations - technical release responsibility Expectation (skills): - mechanical engineer (degree) Bachelor or Master - work experience in transmission area desirable - knowledge about bearings and seals essential - good english skills essential - good PC skills - flexible and good in communication (verbal and written) - prepared to work in an international environment
