Dev Lead to MatHem

Job description

As a Dev Lead you will be important in our digitalization journey and will have the opportunity to grow as a developer - and as a leader.

We believe in a flexible work schedule and like to combine our work with Friday AW:s and daily breakfast. In April 2020 we are moving to a beautiful office located centrally at Gamla Stan in Stockholm.

Responsibilities
We are looking for Development Lead to join our growing tech team based in Stockholm. As a Dev Lead at MatHem, you will have the technical responsibility for the software developed by the team, as well as being the line manager for the developers in your team. You enjoy a fast paced environment and put pride in working effectively and with high quality in all aspects of software development.

The Dev Lead works closely with the Product Owner to asses, scope and define the work for the group. As you are a passionate developer, you are also expected to be an individual contributor in the team. You understand how to balance velocity versus good design and quality, and believe test automation is important to maintain quality over time.

As part of our eCommerce team, you will be a driving force, building a world class experience for the most demanding eCommerce use case - groceries. You will help building out our search engine, making the shopping experience more relevant and be part of creating a new UX.

Qualifications
We are looking for an excellent developer who understands the importance of leadership and building relationships. We believe that you have experience in leading a group, maybe as a tech lead, scrum master or architect. You are interested in modern architecture and understand agile practices and are keen to advocate for these.

You should have:
BSc/Msc or equivalent in a technology field
You have 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in .NET environment
Experience of working with .NET core
Good understanding of microservices and cloud computing (preferably AWS)
Good understanding of architectural principles
Good communication skills, written and verbal in English


It is good to have:
Experience of modern frontend development
Experience in building and maintaining consumer services running 24/7
Serverless architecture
