Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are a section of 5 different groups and our mission is to develop chassis functions in an effective way to be leader in sustainable transport solution. Our focus is to develop actuators and functions for steering, level control and brakes to contribute to Scania’s electrified and autonomous journey. At the moment a huge transformation journey has just begun within Scania that focuses on a more agile way of working where our section contributes as pioneers.

The cool tasks you get to do
Autonomy is new area for us and our functions can be safety critical when removing the driver, where competence within safety, coding according to ISO 26262 and test are needed. To secure the solution we want to strengthen our test capacity even more within the area of automatic HIL- and SIL-tests, both for actuators, single systems and several CAN connected systems.

Within the teams we work with everything from requirements, to implementation and iterative testing, so having experience of programming in Python, C or Simulink can come in handy.

The section needs this
New colleagues within the following areas: 


• System owner – with broad architecture knowledge for embedded systems
• Function developer – within the Chassis domain
• Test automation developer for HIL and SIL
• Safety Manager - with knowledge about ISO26262 

that enjoys an inventive work environment with a high degree of freedom. You are a natural team player who shares your findings and mistakes with colleagues since you are working together towards a common goal. You are positive to taking on new assignments and feel challenged to resolve technical problems whenever they arise. Finally, you have the courage to speak your mind and stick up for your ideas and views.

You need to have the following: 


• University degree in mechatronics, computer science, electronics, machine technology or an equivalent/neighbouring area.
• Great communication skills English 

If you have experience in software development, embedded system for auto motor industry or working with interaction between hardware and software that is only a plus!
